Cisco
Networking incumbent pushing into AI data-center fabric
Cisco is the largest enterprise networking vendor and is repositioning for AI with its Silicon One ASICs, Nexus AI switches, and 800G platforms for AI back-end and front-end networks. It has secured AI infrastructure orders from hyperscalers and partners with NVIDIA to integrate Ethernet-based AI fabrics. Its acquisition of Splunk (2024) adds observability/security to its AI data-center story.
