Co-packaged optics (NVIDIA, Broadcom, Marvell, TSMC COUPE) integrate optical engines next to switch and GPU silicon to cut interconnect power as clusters scale to millions of GPUs. It is the roadmap answer to the interconnect power wall and depends on the same optical-transceiver supply chain (InnoLight, Coherent, Lumentum).
