Lasertec is effectively the only company in the world making actinic (13.5nm) EUV photomask and mask-blank inspection systems (ACTIS / actinic patterned mask inspection), a de facto monopoly essential to every EUV node at TSMC, Samsung, Intel, and Rapidus. Without Lasertec's tools, defect-free EUV masks cannot be economically qualified. It is one of the most concentrated single points of failure in the entire leading-edge supply chain.
