Spectrum-X / Ethernet-for-AI
Scale-out fabric war
Nvidia's Spectrum-X Ethernet, plus the Ultra Ethernet Consortium and Broadcom Tomahawk/Jericho, is the scale-out networking battleground that determines cluster efficiency beyond a single rack. Networking is the third leg (with compute and memory) of cluster performance and an increasingly contested part of the value chain.
