TRUMPF
High-power CO2 laser amplifier for EUV light sources
TRUMPF builds the multi-kilowatt CO2 drive laser that vaporizes tin droplets 50,000 times per second inside every ASML EUV source, generating the 13.5nm light. Together with Zeiss optics and Cymer source integration, TRUMPF is one of the handful of firms without which no EUV tool can function. A privately held German Mittelstand company, it is a hidden single point of failure in the global AI supply chain.
