Hack halts trading on Bitfinex
Trading was briefly halted Tuesday on Bitfinex, which trades #cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, after a #cyberattack, reports CNBC. News of the #hack sent #Bitcoin prices falling 2%, according to the report. This isn’t the first time the exchange was #targeted by hackers. CNBC says Bitfinex suspended #trading in 2016 after a hack and again in June of last year.
