$1.2 billion plan to save #MoviePass
Helios and Matheson Analytics has filed a registration statement with the SEC in the hopes of keeping MoviePass afloat, with the company looking to sell off $1.2 billion in debt and securities over the next three years, reports Axios. Previous SEC filings show the company’s monthly losses soared to $40 million in May, per Business Insider. #MoviePass offers subscribers one movie a day for just $10 a month but has struggled to make the business model profitable and now faces competition from AMC Theatres. #business #planning #analytics #securities #theatre #savings #businessmodeling #amcs
