#Starbucks to toss #plastic #straws
Starbucks will #stop offering single-use plastic straws at its cafes by 2020. CNBC reports that the coffeehouse chain will instead offer its customers straws made from materials like paper and recyclable strawless lids. Seattle became the first U.S. city to #ban plastic straws and other utensils this month. A similar ban will go into effect next year in the UK and Ireland.
