Google Labs: Opal ( drag-and-drop )

Launched this week in public beta (US only), Opal is a tool that lets anyone build and share lightweight, functional apps no code required.

You describe the logic of your workflow, and Opal turns it into a visual interface with chained steps, prompts, and tool calls. You can adjust the flow through drag-and-drop, or just describe what you want to change. And once it’s ready, you can share it instantly.

Use cases include:
• Prototyping a tool or workflow quickly
• Turning a prompt into a working app
• Building small utilities for team productivity

There’s also a template gallery with working examples things like product research reports, social media post creators, or tools that turn YouTube videos into quizzes.

Opal isn’t about flash it’s about execution. It lowers the barrier between an idea and a working version of it.
