EuroHPC Joint Undertaking
EU body funding sovereign supercomputers & AI Factories
EuroHPC JU pools EU and member-state money to procure and operate Europe's supercomputers (LUMI, Leonardo, JUPITER, MareNostrum 5) and, from 2024-2026, the network of AI Factories giving European startups subsidized access to GPU compute. It is the institutional backbone of EU sovereign-AI strategy and the main non-hyperscaler compute route for European labs.
