Alert: Google Outage - June 12, 2025
Today, multiple Google services including Search, Gmail, Drive, Maps, YouTube, and Google Cloud went down globally due to an issue with Google Cloud’s Identity & Access Management (IAM) system.
The outage also affected platforms relying on Google Cloud, including Firebase, Vertex AI, and parts of Workspace. Cloudflare and a few other services experienced issues around the same time.
Most regions are back online, but US-Central (Iowa) is still seeing partial disruption. Google has not yet confirmed full recovery.
