AI Product Management

AI product management is deciding what an AI-powered product should do, for whom, and whether it is worth building. It differs from classic product work because outputs are probabilistic, so quality, trust and error handling become design decisions. Marty Cagan and Marily Nika (SVPG, 2024) argue that AI raises every product risk: value, usability, feasibility and viability. An early task: an evaluation set agreed before a feature ships.
