Data Strategy for AI

A data strategy for AI is the plan for which data an organization needs and how it is collected, governed, stored and made usable by models. Output quality is capped by data quality, access and rights. IBM defines it as a plan for using data to improve decisions, built from objectives, a roadmap, controls and scaling. MIT CISR's 2024 survey found top performers attributed 11 percent of revenue to data monetization, five times the bottom group.
