Voice Agents

A voice agent is software that holds a spoken conversation and can call tools such as a booking system. A pipeline design chains speech recognition, a language model and text-to-speech, easy to inspect and swap. A speech-to-speech model handles audio directly, which cuts delay and keeps tone. Turn-taking, interruptions and response delay decide whether it feels natural. Example: a clinic phone line that books and reschedules appointments.
