Computer Vision
Computer vision is the field that lets software interpret images and video: what is in a picture, where it is, and what is happening. Modern systems learn these skills from labeled examples using convolutional networks and vision transformers. It is the umbrella over classification, detection and segmentation, and it now merges with language in multimodal models.
