Agentic AI

Agentic AI describes systems that pursue a goal over several steps: they plan, use tools, check results and adjust, with less human direction per step than a chatbot. The word covers a wide range, from a single loop with one tool to teams of agents. The practical question is how much autonomy a task justifies, since every added step adds cost, delay and new ways to fail.
