📋Datasheets, Data Cards and Model Cards

Datasheets, data cards and model cards are short structured documents recording what a dataset or model is, where its data came from, how it was collected and cleaned, what it was evaluated on, and what it should not be used for. Gebru et al. proposed datasheets in 2018, by analogy with electronics datasheets; Mitchell et al. proposed model cards the same year. They matter because users cannot otherwise see the choices that shaped a model.
