AI Policy and Acceptable Use
An AI acceptable use policy sets which AI tools staff may use, what data may go into them, and who approves exceptions. It matters because staff already use chatbots with work data, and a policy turns that into managed risk. NIST's AI Risk Management Framework gives the structure most policies borrow: govern, map, measure, manage. Example: a bank allows one approved assistant for drafting but bans customer records in public tools.
